Claudia (Clowdeeah) was featured on the prestigious Healdsburg CA Jazz Festival (one of the best small festivals in the world) tonight and got the longest standing ovation.
She walked up the the microphone and seemed to be testing to see if it was on but she was beginning a mouth percussion solo that only the best Brazilian percussionist (like Airto Moreira) can do.
All by herself unaccompanied she stole the show. You NEED this DVD.

I dont even speak portuguese and i LOVE this concert. This artist is just PERFECT!! the women knows how to sing, dance, jump, entertain and look fabulous at the same time.
Every pop lover should own this dvd, trust me, you wont be sorry!

This is the latest concert spectacular from Brasil.Claudia Leitte, formerly the singer for Babado Novo, seems to be heir to the throne held by Daniela and Ivete. It is a two disc set, one the Copacabana concert and the other a documentary about this fascinating and talented young brasileira. The music, energy and quality of performance are outstanding. Claudia is certainly a charismatic artist, and this disc should be owned by all those who love world class pop music.
Is the music the equal of that of Caetano, Gil, Milton, Djavan, Ivan, or Chico Buarque? Probably not, but lamenting that fact is like complaining because someone doesn't play soprano sax as well as John Coltrane!!!!The love shared between Claudia and her fans is spell binding and the raw emotion displayed can bring a tear to one's eye...This is pop music of the highest quality. It is vibrant and exciting one moment and tender and touching the next. Another must have concert dvd from the world's capital of music! Viva a Claudia e viva o Brasil!!!!!!

the kind of sound Claudia leitte do is called AXÉ...It's from Bahia and totally sucks...All the songs sound the same with childish silly lyrics...Claudia is a beautiful girl, but her lack of talent is obvious...Please, if you want to see good brazilian music try PARALAMAS, TITÃS, NAÇÃO ZUMBI or RAPPA...If you really want to hear this kind of sound, try IVETE SANGALO...it's better....
