Overdue TributeMar 25, 2009
By Joseph J. F. Leming This is an excellent tribute to a band from the seventies that deserved more attention than received. Great Latin jazz and rock from the Escovedo family. Kudos to the producer for putting this together. The remaining original members still get it done. Well worth investing in.
An extremely enjoyable DVD of a Great Band to view many timesSep 23, 2011

I love this DVD. I love Azteca. Azteca was one of my favorite bands growing up. I used to listen to them over and over again. I was quite pleased to see this DVD release and bought it immediately. The detailed history of the band is great as well as many of the interviews conducted. It would have been even better if some old footage of Azteca could have been captured on this DVD. And it's too bad Michael Vincent didn't join the party. I love his guitar playing. I can understand why Flip didn't show, RIP. Having the Escovedo family come on at the end was a real treat. If you like Latin Jazz/Funk you will definitely enjoy this DVD.
