This is an informative video. I watched it, and that night sat down with my cat, who is a raging ball of energy, and worked with her, and it was amazing!! I am a massage therapist, who is now offering massage to pets. This will blend very easily into the massages I already do! A must watch for people who are interested in natural healing, and deepening the bond with their pets!

"One Dog is Never Enough"
it is listed as a DVD and I found that it only played on my computer and not in my DVD player. I bought two more copies for friends . . it is an absolutely excellent DVD and they had the same problem . . needs to be played in a computer. Maybe I misunderstood something in the listing. I had just taken a Reiki I course and found this DVD just wonderful for animals. One of my small dogs is terrified of thunderstorms but when we worked with this, she just calmed down . . amazing!

This is highly informative. It's great that from watching this dvd anyone can learn how to use energy healing on their pets (even plants and humans, the technique is pretty much the same).
It's easy to follow and I can feel just how much she loves animals. It's a very calming dvd for me.
This plays on a PAL dvd player (which plays dvd's for regions in Europe, etc, so you can either buy a PAL dvd player Pioneer DV310E PAL DVD Player (recommended) or play it on your computer.
Well worth it. I've been using the techniques on my cats and my dogs and they love it! I'm recommending this to anyone who love animals. Even if they're not sick, if you like to keep them healthy, happy and have a stronger connection with you, this is a good dvd to learn how to do that.

You do need a computer or a dvd that can handle the format of this production. I have a portable dvd player and it works fine in that. That's the only 'down side' of the item. On the subject matter itself, this lady really resonates with the animals. You can't help but see it. It's almost 'palpable' the connection between the animal and Ms Coates - as seen with the fiesty horse towards the end of the dvd. She has a very soothing, gentle manner. She also encourages you to use healing as a compliment to veterinary care, not instead of it. I purchased the book 'Energy Healing for Dogs' by Nicole Wilde, and whilst I do not dispute her abilities or efficacy in directing healing energy to animals, I have a little trouble in her method. She does ask you to constantly rub your hands together vigorously prior to - and during - energy healing and then asks you to notice anything you may pick up like 'tingling' 'heat' etc. I'm inclined to think that rubbing your hands together could encourage those stimuli, but not because of any healing energy per se, rather the effect of simply rubbing your hands together. Margrit Coates does not rub her hands, she just lays them or holds them over the subject. However, there are many effective healing techniques out there and I think everyone should gravitate to what genuinely works for them. If Nicole Wilde works for you, then go with it. At the end of the day, Margrit Coates/Nicole Wilde or the like, are positive energies for the good and that's what counts.
I also purchased [[ASIN: B001L4L9AY Therapeutic Holistic Dog Massage dvd]] and this is another excellent production that lays a good foundation for canine massage. This is not 'energy healing' per se, though I do think healing is always given off when one connects a gentle presence and/or touch to another living thing. This is a great dvd which is very good for the 'mechanical manipulation' if you will, that helps soothe and assess an animal.
