Very interesting look at Native American historyJul 30, 2008

"Shawnee Native American"
I appreciated the overview of Native American history, culture and traditions through the eyes of the great artists, George Catlin, Charles Bird King and Edward S. Curtis. I also loved the music score that accompanied the clear, concise narration. Anyone interested in paintings and art work of the Native American tribes of North American would certainly enjoy this DVD.

This is a very good if somewhat short lesson takimg the viewer into the truth of our heritage. I epecially likethe part about George Catlin's impression and evaluation of those he spent years with.
