Krishna Das- if you want to learn about Kirtan and hear beautiful music- Krishna Das is like NO other- I highly recommend ! You become a part OF the music- truly beautiful experience.

You have the chants, now meet Krishna DasJul 20, 2008
Before waiting this presentation it would be wise to listen to "Inward Journey: East and West (Campbell, Joseph, Joseph Campbell Audio Collection.) [AUDIOBOOK] (Audio CD)". This is more of a super set of the Krishna Das presentation and makes it easer to follow by putting it in perspective.
"Krishna Das: One Life at a Time" is a composite disk. The main part is more of an auto biography or self journey with the 2004 Las Angeles filmed presentation of Indian devotional song spliced in throughout the presentation. One can feel many parallels and identify with his journey. This also helps fill in with friends, relatives, and acquaintances that are not available with his commercial recordings. There is even footage of Ram Das.
A separate section to the DVD is just Das presentations, in one he describes what you are about to hear others you will recognize right off:
