I'll try to split the difference here.Jan 30, 2005

First off, I want to refer you to the first review posted for this video. Now read a few of the other, more positve reviews. My intent is to define a middle ground. I totally understand the first reviewers complaints. It's produced and edited like "home video meets survelliance footage." It's a hodge-podge of whatever video they had, basically. A clear lack of experience in the editing room is evident througout
I think the people who made this were very close to the band. Specifically, Miguel and such folks. Thusly, they may not have been comfortable asking Brad's dad the tough and compelling questions. Or maybe they just weren't experienced enough in interviewing. Don't forget they were probably staying pretty mentally altered at the time they made this, it being after Brad's death.
Here's the kicker: none of that matters. The typical Sublime fan is just overjoyed to have something to look at having to do with Sublime. All we have is what we had in April of 1996, so at some point I think Sublime fans collectively went into kind of a hoarding mode; grabbing any bootleg, any video snippet and anything with Brad's voice on it just to make sure you always have it. You want every piece of anything that's out there.
So, there's my little story of the two halves. I wish a better job were done on it, and if it were anyone else I wouldn't spend my hard-earned twenty dollars it. But it's not anyone else. It's Brad. It's the band. It's Sublime.

This is the best Sublime video for the True Sublime Fans!Apr 11, 2000
By Johnny Mineo This video is for any Sublime fan who truely loves their music. It tells about how they lived how they played. It tells about road trips and other bizzare tales. There's a lot of legal footage of when they played live including the Warped Tour '95. Other bands such as Pennywise, No Doubt, and Lords of Brooklyn tell their experiences wit Sublime. Troy, Jim, Jakob James Nowell, and Miguel. They're all in there. U even get to see Opie paint some art. It comntains graphic language and content. Well peace out enjoy!

Very touching...makes me glad I love Sublime!!Jun 12, 1999
By Chloe I think this video is great for anyone who loves sublime or wants to know more...There's a bunch of stories from Gwen Stefani (as well as a few preformances w/ her and ND)Pennywise, Troy, Ron Jeremy...the list goes on. It really makes me realize how great Brad was and how sad that it is that he's gone. It's good for any collector or fan and well worth the price, although it's not HIGH quality, it's LONG and filled with alot of good stories.

Long Live Bradley!!!!Jun 10, 1999
Stories, tales, lies, and exaggerations presents a "sublime" insight into the lives of Brad, Eric, and Bud. It contains a variety of concert footage, interviews from the people who knew Brad the most, hilarious stories from the road, and a heart-breaking rendition of "A B C's" by Brad's son, Jakob. If you are a fan of sublime you clearly must see this documentary... NO... you must own this documentary...and you will understand how Bradley Nowell will forever remain a musical genuis!!! Peace be with you.

This documentary kicks ASS!Jun 01, 2005
By Trillion Galatea I am a HUGE Sublime fan, and I really enjoyed this movie. Along with videos and interviews, you get a very in depth look at Bradley Nowell's life and his friends and families lives. Parts of this movie made me laugh and others made me cry. A wonderful buy for any Sublime fan.
