I was sewing costumes for an Easter play and slipped in the DVD!!! The story really inspired me while I worked. I was pleased to receive it in good shape and quickly. thanks

Two things: 1) I actually pruchased this recording so that I could have a video of the GVB singing - YES I KNOW. Oh well, not quite what I expected, as there was only a bit from the end of the song. I had already purchased Nashville Homecoming (good DVD, nonetheless), and Homecoming Texas Style, (not my style, but okay), both of which I was hoping would have YES I KNOW. Then I spent an hour or so attempting to find the right one. I checked and double-checked, and finally found YES I KNOW, in full, on GOSPEL BLUE GRASS HOMECOMING. YES I KNOW IS TRULY THERE, along with some real foot-tapping songs. 2) THE BEST OF GUY PENROD is an excellent DVD. I like it so much. Guy is just who he is; that is to say, he is the real deal. I knew this, -kind of, but he is a real cowboy, and one of my favorite scenes is the cows coming across the field in response to their boss (and his truck)coming home. So precious. I also enjoyed the brief comments and video of the chocolate lab. / Most engaging, I think, are the conversation between Guy and Bill Gaither. / Where the family stores the equipment for the horses and so on is almost unbelievable. So, I am wondering if it is always so well organized and clean-looking. (I am suspicious :)!) It was fun seeing the children and their home, as well as that amazing wife. My goodness, what a neat woman. The clips of music are great. (Not sure why they revealed such a shorty on YES I KNOW, but I am just so glad I bought that DVD. I have a whole bunch, as overly-enthusiastic folks like to say, and The Best of Guy Penrod is certainly one of my favorites. You may also enjoy the shots of Tennessee. Good all the way around.

Very Enjoyable!May 04, 2008
I thoroughly enjoy this DVD. It goes without saying that Guy's voice, and the Gaither Vocal Band clips, are fantastic. But even moreso on this DVD I enjoy the interviews with Guy, who takes Bill Gaither on a tour of Guy's farm. I was thrilled to see Guy talking to and feeding his cows, watching Guy's dog guiding the truck down the road, seeing Guy's barn and tractor, and hearing his boys sing in the kitchen. The interviews with Guy are also priceless, as we get to hear him talk about his Dad and family. I really think he is a special guy and this is a great DVD.

Fantastic voice, great music and wonderful familyOct 23, 2007
The music and songs are uplifting and moving and Mr. Penrod's voice is an incredible instrument. It is easy to recognize that he feels and believes what he sings. Please don't miss this wonderful dvd.
